SHORT-TERM GOALS

·         INCREASE MEMBERSHIP BY 25% o        Identify new members o        Assign board members to visit / recruit new members o        Clearly articulate and communicate membership benefits o        Review / revise by-laws as required

·         IMPROVE ATTENDANCE AT CLUB MEETINGS AND EVENTS o        Set up 2007 event schedule o        Create mail list / email list of all members and friends of the club o        Create programs for women / children of the club o        Hold quarterly family meetings o        Develop a monthly social activity as a group o        Develop sport activities o        Develop / fund Dabke program

·         IMPROVE CLUB VISIBILITY o        Identify organizations that we want to associate with o        Create mail list / email list of organizations o        Develop a flyer introducing the Club / Mission o        Visit organizations / Introduce new board o        Identify common goals with other organizations

·         DEVELOP FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES o        Develop a yearly budget / Identify funding needs o        Apply for non-profit status with IRS o        Develop and Execute fund raising plan

 

MID-TERM GOALS

·         FIRM UP IDEAS ABOUT NEW CULTURAL CENTER o        Identify and visit similar clubs o        Hire an architect to draw a schematic plan for new center

·         DEVELOP A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

·         RENT A TEMPORARY OFFICE / GATHERING PLACE / IDENTIFY VOLUNTEER SECRETARY OR HIRE A PART TIME SECRETARY

 

LONG-TERM GOALS

·         HIRE A CLUB EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO TAKE CARE OF DAILY ACTIVITIES AND PURSUE FUNDING ACTIVITIES

·         IDENTIFY MAJOR DONORS FOR NEW LEBANESE CULTURAL CENTER

·         IDENTIFY LOCATION OF NEW CULTURAL CENTER (TOWN MEETINGS / CENSUS)

·         BUY LAND FOR NEW CENTER / HIRE ARCHITECT FOR DESIGN

·         BUILD CULTURAL CENTER
